We’re delighted to announce we are designing and delivering a completely bespoke eight-month leadership programme for Wavemaker UK, to create Wavemaker’s high-performing leaders of the future.
Where it all began
Wavemaker UK is run by two brilliant women, Kelly Parker (CEO) and Katie Lee (COO), known for their people-first, collaborative leadership styles.
The project began when Katie approached Alex looking for senior training and coaching for the top layer of talent under the Wavemaker leadership team.
LockSmith worked closely with Wavemaker to define the brief, hosting a Discovery Workshop to get the right decision-makers in the room at the right time. Of our Discovery Workshop, Katie said:
“The discovery workshop was an invaluable kickstart to the training programme as it ensured that we spent time together as a leadership aligning on our priorities. Having the senior team excited and clear on common goals is a must.”
Developing the course
The course will define, teach & embed the key behaviours needed to be a successful leader, inspire future leaders to take ownership of their development, and equip them with the skills they need to successfully navigate and lead in a matrix organisation.
We will do this via a 360 programme, which will include six workshops, mentoring, 1:1 and peer coaching, and profiling. The workshops will cover everything from defining & leveraging an authentic leadership style to fostering first-class relationships with clients and building high-performing teams.
Kicking off the programme
We launched the programme with a three-hour kick-off event at the Wavemaker offices this week. The purpose of the event was to meet the delegates, line managers & mentors, get them thinking about what good leadership looks like to them and outlining the programme so everyone knows what to expect.
