A need to navigate challenging organisational change​

The Edrington marketing team was facing a significant moment of change. With organisational shifts on the horizon, there was an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day and focus on the bigger picture. The team needed space to reflect on the personal and professional impacts of a transformative year, celebrate their successes and recharge for the future.​

This wasn’t a standard business retreat. Edrington’s vision was something far more personal — a chance to recognise the journey the team had been on, thank them for their hard work and create an environment where they felt supported, valued, and empowered for their next chapter – whatever that might be.

A wellbeing retreat designed for growth and reconnection​

LockSmith designed and delivered a two-day retreat that blended wellbeing, reflection and connection — delivered in our signature style: empathy-forward, practical and fun.​

This wasn’t just about learning; it was about how delegates felt. Our goal was for every delegate to leave recharged, connected, and optimistic about the journey ahead. ​

To achieve this, we took a two-fold approach.​

We partnered with wellbeing expert Amanda Turner to guide somatic movement and breathwork sessions, providing a space for delegates to release tension and reconnect with themselves. Alongside this, we facilitated deeply reflective exercises — both individually and as a group — to drive personal growth and strengthen team bonds.​

Moments of introspection were balanced with moments of celebration. From awards ceremonies to fun social activities and team-building, we ensured the retreat was as joyful and energising as it was meaningful!​

We began the retreat with guided meditation and somatic movement sessions led by wellbeing expert Amanda Turner. ​ These practices helped delegates regulate their nervous systems, release stress and prepare for meaningful reflection.

The next part of the retreat was dedicated to encouraging delegates to explore their values, priorities and personal growth areas, both he final phase focused on energising and empowering delegates to look ahead with clarity and purpose. ​

The final phase focused on energising and empowering delegates to look ahead with clarity and purpose. ​With a mix of creative vision boarding and future possibilities sessions, we invited each of them to use tangible tools to reimagine their futures and create actionable steps toward their goals.​

The retreat was an overwhelming success, with delegates praising the experience for its meaningful blend of reflection, growth and celebration. ​
